Previously known as Peterson Trading Limited Partnership, Peterson 1990 Co., Ltd. was established on 6 September 1962. The company began as an importer of aluminium sections, steel frames, glass, doors, and window fittings from the United States and Europe. These materials were then assembled locally and contributed to a wide range of construction projects across Thailand.

Over the decades, Peterson has evolved from a materials importer into a leading façade contractor, integrating both international expertise and locally manufactured materials into its systems. Today, the company continues to source high-quality aluminium and glass products, combining innovation with practical solutions suited to Thailand’s environment.

Peterson is widely recognized as a pioneer in introducing curtain wall systems to Thailand. One of its earliest landmark projects was the head office of Sri Ayudhya Bank on Ploenchit Road, completed more than 35 years ago. In 1988, Peterson further strengthened its position as an industry innovator by introducing advanced curtain wall technologies, including four-sided and two-sided structural silicone support systems from Australia. Through in-house research and development, these systems were carefully adapted to perform effectively under Thailand’s climatic conditions.

A notable example of this innovation is its application in C.P. Tower on Silom Road, which marked a significant milestone in Thailand’s construction history and demonstrated Peterson’s technical capabilities.

With more than 63 years of experience in façade engineering and construction, Peterson has successfully completed over 400 projects, including office buildings, hospitals, and residential developments. The company has played a significant role in shaping Bangkok’s skyline through a portfolio of high-profile landmark projects.

These include Mahanakhon Tower, the second tallest building in Thailand; Magnolia Waterfront Residence, the tallest residential building in the country; as well as Mochit Complex, One City Centre, AIA East Gateway, Rosewood Bangkok, Chatrium Grand Bangkok, and Synphaet Hospital. Earlier notable developments include Millennium Residence, The MET Condominium, All Seasons Place Phase V, and Shinawatra Tower III.

Peterson also has extensive experience working with international clients, including City Developments Limited for Millennium Residence, Hotel Properties Limited for The MET Condominium, and AIA across four major projects.
