Gaysorn village
Gaysorn village is a project development for a shopping mall and commercial area which is located in the Ratchaprasong area, Pathumwan district, Bangkok. The original name was Gaysorn plaza and was opened in October 1994.
In the first phrase, Gaysorn plaza was a shopping mall which gathered famous brand name products from all over the world in one place to specially target on high-end customers. Later, Srivikon Group who is the owner saw an opportunity for growth, so they completely repositioning from its luxurious image to become a lifestyle urban village.
Currently, an additional building called “Gaysorn tower” has been built which includes a shopping mall, health care and beauty center, and office building zone.
Other than that, they are connected together between Gaysorn center and Gaysorn tower. Moreover, they are going to renovate “Amarin plaza” on the opposite side to become Gaysorn Amarin to connect them altogether and become a part of “Gaysorn Village”.
Gaysorn Center
The building was built on the site of the former British Overseas Airways Corporation. It has the total area of 41,500 sq. m. divided into a 5-storey shopping mall and 3-storey office space for rent. The building was opened in October 1994.
Gaysorn tower
Gaysorn tower is a 30-storey building with total area of 63,000 sq. m. The lower part of the building is lifestyle shopping mall area. It is connected to Gaysorn Center and the connection spot was called “Gaysorn Cocoon”. Because it is designed to resemble a cocoon to symbolize the origin of new things, it is also an important landmark of Gaysorn Village.
Gaysorn Amarin
The building is including shopping center. Amarin tower is 23-storey office building with total area of 76,000 sq. m. divided into a shopping area of 55,000 sq. m. and office space for rent of 21,000 sq. m. Moreover, Gaysorn Amarin is also the first location Louis Vuitton restaurant and café in Southeast Asia.
